Jungle mp3s?

So I'm DJing a rock show this Sunday.

Rather than the typical Television + Sonic Youth + Gang of Four medley, I'm thinking I want to mix it up with some KLF, Orbital, early Prodigy, etc., and maybe a Goa track here and there.. Sort of a friendly sabotage to turn some heads.

I've got all of the above, but I've also promised a bit of a jungle set to some friends. To this end, I need jungle mp3s. Classic height-of-rave-goodness stuff. Warhead, and Dub Plate Pressure, That Superman song, Congy Natty stuff, etc. Or even mp3s of short mixtapes I can drunkenly slop into each other.

Yes, this will be a bit tongue-in-cheek and ironic, but I don't mean to make any enemies in the Jungle room. I wore out my Freaky Flow 7 tape like the rest of you. (Come on, you had 2 copies, admit it.) Jungle!! It'll be a train-wreck, I've never used cd decks before. Hook me up, it's karrrrrrrmaaaa.

ppmmmmmm me!

It's the thought that counts - soulseek is alright but the speeds are junk.

If I really want to rock the funky rock the funky beats beats rock the funky beats, rock the funk-y beats, beats, beats.

since you're "djing a show" I think you should use only legitimate (purchased) mp3s. I have problems with people that play pirated music at a gig.

i agree and the bit rate has to be 320 to get a solid b-line sounding crisp..

i pay for my vinyl like everyone should do to support the scene.

however, its impossible to find or even pay for rare classic tracks...

they never have been repressed.

how does it legally work that someone can overcharge the retail cost of a record by 200% or more... EI. original "Let me Know"

If your rockin out new tunes at a gig and they are pirated  ... but i dont see the wrong in shit that is impossible to buy.

anyone got TOO MUCH GUN..that is all i know about the track unless you want sample i will have to post the set

same with another ragga tune that samples "and now, i want to go back to the classics"..which is most likely a frank sinatra sample

I'm not sure I agree with this statement. You may say tunes are impossible to buy but maybe you just haven't looked in the right places. I'm not 100% comfortable with playing any illegally downloaded material while working as a professional dj...

well, im not gonna pay $50 + for Dj Gunshot - Wheel Up off ebay or other sites... but i guess it would come down to if your were getting paid for the gig. if not an it more or less outta charity, then you arent harming the artist who produced nearly as much as playin pirated music and profiting from it.
