if you live anywhere near a junior A team and the oshawa generals come into town i strongly suggest you check this kid out....he was drafted as a 14 year old and just turned 15 at the start of the season...he's currently sitting at 39 goals and has the crowd buzzing almost every shift he takes...his nhl draft year isn't until 2009 so there's lots of time to watch him grow and mature and tear the league apart...

...and spezza's now one of the better players in the nhl...i remember watching spezza his rookie year in brampton, i'd say tavares is living up to the hype allot more than jason did at this stage...spezza's a playmaker, tavares is a scorer, not always a fair comparison either way

Yes, but Spezza was supposed to be the second coming of Christ, not only one of the 'better players in the NHL'.

Spezza needs to learn how to take hits and not be thrown off his game.
