John Digweed's new disc is wonderful!

I only wish it were two discs!. It's a total return towards the sound of Northern Exposure 1. I love this sound so much. It's not huge floor fillers , it would be tough to get some of this stuff to work on the dance floor ... but as far as listening pleasure goes, amazing stuff. It's so nice to this direction being explored again. Definitely worth looking out for ... but then again the name Digweed doesn't usually go unnoticed.

matt, i've heard so much about the spooky track...maybe i've heard it out, but does it live up to the advance billing...???

also i've heard the mandalay & shakespeare sister tracks...both really wicked...

this is one disc i'll be getting...

Yeah the Spooky track is pretty good. A big sounding record, fat analogue sounding, nice big sine wave pulsing around in the background. Probably sounds amazing on a big system. I got it last week ... haven't had a chance to play it out yet. Very very "northern exposure" progressive but not in the dreamy sense if that makes sense. For me it would fit in late late night.

Fucking hell, Matt you're so right. This is a spectacular (though certainly more low key) CD. Totally reminiscent of the genius of the NE series. I'm going to be listening to this quite a bit.

chilled with just a bit of stirring. no real bite to it though

woohoo i continue to think digweed is boring...not deep and broody boring, just sitting outside with a beer, with a slight head nodding boring...maybe the occaisional toe tap

mind you i have to listen to it some more

Boring my left testicle! I'll show you real bite..ok, i have no idea where i'm going with this...

This mix is sheer bliss...i spent the night typing up a short story in the dark with this as my company...it certainly aided my creativity...

best thing i've heard from Diggers in a while...refreshing too.

Much like GU 14 - Hong Kong. This is growing on me. I wasn't nuts about this, but I'm starting to warm up to it a bit more each time I hear it.

A nice mix here. Really is a shame that it's only a single disc. I am loving that last track, Mandalay-Deep Love, I had to hit rewind twice in the car today!

Listened to this about 5 times today. This is a VERY nice CD. Pure headphone listening... pure wickedness... pure class.

My only complaint is that it's only one disc... but that's hardly a complaint.
