I'm going to open with a discussion for the masses on Big League Chu and Soulmantra. They are after all the two most popular people in this forum. I'm going to leave it up the the Saskatoon forum massive to give their opinions on Chu's flawless mixing of breaks, touring schedule, dynamic personality, and residencies. As many a member knows the name Soulmantra, comments on writing style, personality, content and his relative distance from the majority of board members will all be discussed. I leave this up to the masses now as I have to leave for work. I do of course expect at least 100 replies or so by the time I return home as this is the Saskatoon forum after all... busy, busy, busy.

that post was one of the funniest things i've seen all day. but the truth is that most saskatoon people have never been to an event in toronto so it's hard for them to relate. i haven't been to that many either but they span over the last three years so i have some clue what is happening.

i see relevance in keeping up somewhat on the goings on in t.o. but most of the people don't so that is why we are under represented here.

That's cool. I partied with some Sask. folks at the 3 day, 2 years ago and they rocked. I am sure you are enjoying T.O and I hope you enjoy this room. There's not a whole lot going on, but at least I don't feel like if I don't read it for a day I am out o touch. If ya know what I mean.

yah.. do I ever love Toronto... it has so many wonderful people.... and the city itself is so beautiful... although the sky here pales in comparison to the clear blue skies of home... *aurora borealis*

it's really cool because Big League Chu was one of the very first djs I heard spin in the city...

Yeah, Chu's and old school Western Boy along with libradragon, 420 guy, booty bits, doublecross, madhatter, myself, echo, spinsah and quite a few others. I dunno how he ended up joining us in this room, but it is always a pleasure. So what 'cha taking in Toronto? You are at U of T I'm assuming. Lemme know what yer all about.

I am at the Glenn Gould Professional School at the Royal Conservatory of Music... isn't that a mouthful?! ha.

I am studying opera there.. it's only my second year though, I am still a youngen. But I live just off of Bay and Bloor, on St. Mary st....

Well it doesn't look like Colin or Soulmantra have been around for a while so here's me.

I am from Hamilton.
I graduated from Western
I am almost 25
I am getting ready to teach English overseas in Japan, Korea, Italy or a whole slew of other countries to choose from
I just got my $125.00 check so I am terribly happy.
I live with my girlfriend Jen and my cat Woogie
I have been writing on this board for a long, long time.
I rarely get to T.O, but if I do, I think it would be cool if we caught up. We could go see Colin spin some funky ass breaks at one of the numerous clubs he spins at.
In a nut-shell that's me.

well, I lived in Moose Jaw Sk. for my entire life, and I graduated from high school when I was 16 and moved out here when I was 17.
I am finishing my 2nd year and will probably still be at the same school for a few years

But I would love to go with you to see Colin sometime... I'll bring Pete (Subsonic Chronic) because I know he would like to meet you!
When are you moving to go teach??
