Jazz song help..

I love this song every time I hear it.

I usually hear it being played at more upscale stores. And deep house parties. I've heard remixes at house events.

I THINK (I think) it's also used in a National Post advert. The ones you see at movie theatres.
It's got a deep female singer.. She hums quite a bit and her voice vibrates.. almost like Nina Simone.

Any idea of what it could be?

you may wanna do some search on songs by them and see if you can listen to some track to see if it is something that you are talking about..

Sunny you're probably looking for Dianna Krall.

She did some ads for Chrysler. I think she sang "The look of love", in the first one.

Well, like I said, it's quite fast. They play it as house events.

i don't think i've ever heard it sunny.

it's probably not krall then, as she got a lot of flack for the chrysler ad.

I think it's an old track.
EVERYONE has seen this National Post ad. They play it before movies at theaters. I saw it at least 20 times last year.

I know the song you're speaking of, but do not know its name. I tried contacting the Post years ago to find it, to not avail. You'd have to find the Ad Agency who did the ad, ask someone in their creative team.

I called the post myself and they sent me a promo mini cd ad

(i hope thats the song at least so I dont look like a tool)

download it and you'll see (or , hear)

take five would probably be a good guess.

i cant remember the commercial all that well, so i cant be 100% sure.

if its not it - then its very similar.

yeah Take Five was the first thing i thought of.. but i don't think there's any female humming in it..
