K, i dunno how many of you went, or if you even care-but tuff shit..im reviewing it.
this was by far, the best concert i have ever been to!!!! i dont even know if there are words in the English language that could begin to do justice to this..but i'll try.

The concert opened with Perry in his revolution dress-this huge white parachute dress, that is rippling all around him, with human legs causing it to billow this way and that..so unreal..so well done..all this on top of a stage setup that was like a shipwrecked/pirate ship sorta deal...so anyways...as far as eye candy goes, there were lazers, nude dancers, and lights that would blow even the most synical of minds..the show had such a sexual overtone, that was so intense people were spontaniously making out with whoever was beside them-and not sketchy drug induced sex..powerful, emotional music that resulted in more passion..unreal. they played for just under 2 hrs, with an encore, leaving everyone DYING for more..i coulda stayed there for another 3 days and not have been ready to go home. Perry's voice is like no other-the perfect blend of agressive and orgasmic...wow...what a performer..truly one of the best concerts ever put on, and a surreal getaway from everything that has been going on lately...

oh yeah...The Dears sucked, and Live was lame..but they werent the reason i went anyways..

Fucking awesome is right mon!!!!!!!1
I couldn't believe they played "trip away", and "classic girl". Dancers were beatifull.

It was like a circus/topless/music production that just didn't dissapoint/

by far and away the most enjoyable, beautiful, overwhelming, brilliant concert i've ever been to....

perry is the ultimate showman, and with the visuals that they brought with them, the eye candy was awsome...the stage change half way through to the aucoustical 'jane says' and 'classic girl' brought the intimacy level to a peak...

all in all, i've waited nearly 8 years to see jane's addiction, and after last night, i can say it was worth everysecond...near perfection...

im not a HUGE fan of janes addiction but i've always loved perry ferrel in whatever his incarnations.
iwas in acorporate box so i had great sight lines but the vibe was non existant(no crowd no vibe)
so from my perspective the show was mediocre.

the stage show ws fantastic, the layout and the dancers were really great. but perry was tired and strung out looking, his voice was strained from being half way through a tour.
he did show a lot of enthusiasm but overall i wasnt overly impressed.

I throughly enjoyed Janes Addiction last night...an excellent concert both terms of production amd performance. It was an excellent way for me to ring in my twenty-first birthday.

OK, I gotta admit, I god shivers running down my spine reading your short reviews (Thanx

). Judging from what You said, from seeing Perry with Porno for Pyros several times in the past, from his and his wife's B-Rated 'The Gift' and from general knowledge of what that man is capable of I can imagine the type of atmposphere you are talking about. He has always been able to stimulate all human senses with his performances (even the 6th sense

). And of course the strong, mistical and twisted, yet very capturing sexual under- and overtones that are nearly synonymous to the name of Farell, were inevitable.

I regret missing this, even if it was just to hear Jane Says acoustical live, I would love to...

Actually, it was only the third date of the tour...they still have a long way ahead of them. From what I read, the problem was with the sound, which was why you couldn't hear Perry very well, if at all, during certain points of the show.

I had a great time, 'cause it was total nostalgia...taking me back to my teenage "alternative" years back when the word meant something. We went to CFNY to see the band before the show...remember when CFNY was still CFNY and they actually played good music? And wow, Perry is so tiny and skinny.

I didn't like the dancers much...gorgeous women, and I know Jane's has always had that sleazy side to them...but I found their gyrating really distracting and inappropriate during songs like "Jane Says." I'd hate to be sitting behind those women, trying to watch the band, while they're bending over showing us the goods. Yuck.
