I've Come To The Conclusion

Karim.

I am not saying this is what is happening with you but just read my situation.....

It is very very hard for girls to make guy friends.

Im always paranoid that guys think i am "sending out the message" that i am interested in them....when in fact i am just being nice, friendly me.

I've had to tell a few people before that what they thought was something, wasn't, and it broke my heart. =(

But I DID NOT PLAY HEAD GAMES, and i did not lead them on, i didnt do anything differently with them than i would with any of my other friends. I would not do that to someone.

All I can say to EVERYONE is if you are truely interested in someone, say so from the outset, or test the waters, in a way that there is no doubt that you will get a yes or no answer. I've learned that this is the easiest way to do things now.

I don't want to get hurt...or blame someone for leading me on when really they weren't...so I find out right away if they are interested.....and if not....then I'll just be their friend. =)

It's far better to know, then to wonder or assume that someone likes you....

karim, you proally hate me now =(

i should say though...that from what you have said.....she did sound very enthusiastic about your friendship, and im sure if i was in the same situation i would have felt the same as you....

if she had a feeling that you felt the way you did, she should have said something like....geez im glad im single right now i dont have time for a boyfriend.....

but alas......she didnt =(

Cosmic, you are absolutely right. I'm not mad at you for stating the obvious.

The issue here is if I "want" what you said to be true.

I just find it a shame that nothing can come out of it all. I really like her (yes, I still like her).

Do you think I should keep a strong friendship? Cause it's awkward staying good friends after I tell her my feelings.

Thanks for your sympathy. I can work through it.

:) <---- At least Thursday at the Kool Haus helped me get my mind off it all.

Yes it is, but you can fumble your way through it much like I have many times. :) It's all dependant on open communication, honesty and making the effort. If you want to remain friends badly enough, you'll figure a way out on how to do it. But don't kill yourself, or emotionally hurt yourself in doing so.

I think if you can handle a friendship then by all means do it!

If you like her that much, I would think it better to have her in your life then not at all.....even if you have a struggle.....you just have to try to deal with your feelings....some people you just can't get over.... =(

I say trust your companion..
but trust your insticnt more.

Everything can seem all fine & dandy but sometimes signs appear that tell you to keep your ear to the ground. Trust those.. they will give you an edge.

Well, I just had a nice conversation with her on MSN messenger. And we played a game of Yahoo pool. :)

I can see us staying really good friends.

James: I'll try to find a pic to post in the pic thread. You'll probably recognize me as one of the people up front, dancing till 6:30-7 at the Kool Haus. So you know who to look for at Delta Heavy :)

My buddy Jared (from the west coast) said he met ya at Howells last night. I was usually around him the entire night at Kool Haus.

Cosmic: You're advice was grand, thanks alot. You are absolutely right, a friendship is definately worth keeping.

Same to you James (the reason I call you James is I am too lazy to type El presi-what-cha-ma-call-it :) )

:) <---- Grateful

try not to sweat it bro.
we all do it, to a point at least.

one day you'll meet someone who's perfect and then everything that's happened in the past won't matter anymore.

Truer words cannot be said.

When you meet the right person, all the others will almost disappear from your mind.

But in the meantime, try and get them out of your head, so they won't be a source of aggravation in your life now.
