It really sucks that people can't smell their own B.O.

Though, it is much easier to smell B.O. on yourself then bad breath.
today was especially hot and sticky and every odour was magnified by a factor of 10
my problem is i have stinky feet. without my odour eaters, my feet are bona fide weapons. yup, can't board airplanes these days wearing sandals because my feet are deemed to be a threat to the safety and security of other passengers.

i've recently realized that my backpack straps have absorbed the stink from hot days, and now if i get moderately hot from walking fast here or there it activates it and it will mix with the heat and sweat and make me smell really bad. the stink clings to my shirt material but not to me. its annoying. :s

I wonder if this Axe deoderant body spray thing will catch on.
Anyways, my workout gloves, I bought them, wore them for a while. One day I smell them, and they have a mild odor, so I wash them. Bucket of warm water, soap, rinse, scrub, etc.
Leather gloves, $20 from the suppliment shop.
I then leave them out to dry and take them with me to the gym.
I had a wiff of these supposedly clean gloves, and they smell rank. Ick. Like the inside of a cast when you break your arm. The most disgusting smell ever. Having them in my bag for 20 minutes, made my bag stink as well.
What a waste of gloves. I tried recleaning, redrying, the smell came back, 100 times worse then before i even washed them.
I threw them out and got new gloves. Rather upsetting.

put dryer sheets like bounce in your shoes...should do the trick. Or sprinkle some baking soda in them overnight and dust out the excess before you wear em the next da....
if you do that don't take your shoes off at someone's place...they'll wonder why your footprints are white....then you'll have to do some explaining....

BO sucks. There is a woman in the cubicle next to mine. She smells worse then the homeless people you occasionally run into on the TTC. You just want to throw up.
Luckily for me the ventilation keeps it away, but if she walks by...ugh. Fucking disgusting.

Well if that's the case here, she's had an illness for about 4 years. Thankfully, it is only the past year that I have had the good fortune of sitting beside her.

It's because of our diet that's higher in dairy than other people's of the world.
Diet is also the reason why Asian people tend to smell more like fish, and Indian people like curry. Chances are that if you have bad BO, it will bear some resemblance to what you eat.
What you eat comes out of your pores, even if it's only in tiny amounts.
You are what you eat!

Yeah, I was being serious actually.
It's not a very noticeable difference, but it's there. You won't notice it so much with Asians who live in North America and vice versa, but diet has a great deal to do with body odour.
If a North American goes to China they might think that he smells like sour milk, and he might think that they all smell like fish. It's the kind of difference that you'd notice if you went to another country, but not one that you're likely to notice among individuals from other countries living here.
