IT Peeps - IVR setup

Does anyone have experience with setting up an IVR (interactive voice response) system coming off a T1 with about 10 direct lines?

i'm trying to implement a test system where we can call in and listen to pre-recorded sentences and also record a message and have it playback.

we will have access to getting a T1 brought into our building for this, but now we have to figure out how to implement the IVR portion.

basically, if any of you have experience with this i'd be interested in knowing what i would need to do this. a simple windows 2000 box with a T1 card and some software? we need group network access to this box for the recordings and to put our own messages on it for playback as well as configuring the system.

any help would be appreciated ... thanks.

We're currently using a couple of sun boxes. One for telecom duties and the other for database operations. I handle ivr coding (more towards voicemail applications). What type of signalling are u guys are going to use? ss7? mf?

pen

iono anything. we haven't purchased any of the hardware or software for this ... all we have is a T1 that will be installed with 10 dedicated lines, and then, well, nothing so far.

it will not be a mini call centre, more of a testing facility. allowing us to make calls outside and hearing messages and/or recording our own messages.

i will look into the links provided, thanks.
