It says on the startup page that the old versions of Morpheus won't work anymore, and that you have to download a new version when it comes out.

Download WINMX if this is the case....it started working again a couple hours ago for me.

Certain High Speed Providers have been blocking direct peer to peer connections, like Morpheus. The reason for this is trivial, they dont want people to keep their computers logged into Morpheus all day with tonz of files at everyones disposal.

I know Cogeco has started this, and others will probably follow.

Sucks if you ask me... what are we paying for?

I heard that morpheus and kazaa got shut down wednesday morning at 3:30 am.

I was trying to d/l that program and it was giving me great difficulty so i d/l winmx instead. I hate that program! I want my kazaa back *tear*

I haven't heard anything I can back up... All i know is that I tried to log on to grab a few tracks and it said that my version on morpheus was too old... So i burned everything i had on there to CD and got the Hell outa dodge.... DELETE!!!!!!!!! besides It was always "encountering errors" and shit... Like anyone at microsoft reads those stupid "xp error reports".
