Iron Monkey and Collard Greens.

Ok, two things that rock, but not necessarily in conjunction with each other.

Just got finished watching "Iron Monkey", and I've got to say this was one of the most entertaining kung fu movies I've seen in a long time. Good stunts, choreography, hilarious dialogue, tons of melodrama, good characters, etc.

Highly recommended. I know I'm late on this one, but if anyone hasn't seen it and is a fan or moderate fan of the genre, check it.

COLLARD GREENS. I think everyone should wake up and check the most majestic yet understated and misunderstood of the green leafy vegetables. The humble collard green. Wash, slice and boil, toss with butter, salt and pepper, a little lemon.. YuMMerS! EAT MORE COLLARD GREENS.

BBB.

Iron Monkey and Collard Greens. Both very good for YOU!

It still astonishes me that Iron Monkey is 8 years old. So ahead of its time.

PS. BBB, plenty more of that shit that is so worthwhile, just keep an eye out for it. Am I correct in assuming that you have a membership at Suspect?

Kiss Of The Dragon has to be one of Jet Li's worst movies ever!
There's only 1 good fight scene in it ... I was very disappointed when I saw it
I think I might watch China 2 tonight ... I just bought the DVD and haven't had a chance to watch it yet

When it gets back I'll get you to email me a bunch of titles. Ever seen a flick called "Dragon over (or from) Moscow"? I saw a trailer for it at the Bloor years ago, but have never seen anything else.

Yeah, (if we're talking about the same thing) but it's a knock off of the Christophe Gans adaptation of the manga Crying Freeman, which featured Marc Dacascos, Tcheky Karyo, Rae Dawn Chong and Mako. Christophe Gans also did one of the more entertaining films I've seen this year : Brotherhood of the Wolf. Skip Dragon over Moscow and check out Crying Freeman. Far superior and definitely will satiate the John Woo fix.

From the Ministry of hasn't been officially released here, but worth tracking down, if you can find it.
