i have an ihp-120 and it's sick...
i use it to sample just about everything, record sets, and of course listen to it all. i get about 16 full hours out of the battery as well..
no complaints here, well worth the 350usd i paid for it (i have the 20Gb version)

I hope this doesn't count as "thread crapping," but you can buy those in the store for $400 now. You might wanna drop the price a bit.

it was great for the short time i had it...recorded a set while i was in mtl, that was real nice.

but bought it cause i thought i could hook it up into my car, which turned out not to be possible with the factory cd player

You'd think that by now, car makers would have clued into the fact that MOST people use a portable listening device while out and about, and that a 'line-in' on a factory auto stereo system would make A WHOLE HELL OF ALOT OF SENSE!
