If you need me, I'll be sleeping in the library ..

Well, technically I just woke up 10 minutes ago.

My neck is stiff .. and my head hurts.
And I missed my C++ class.

Why does everyone sleep in libraries?
Why don't we sleep in our beds?

Libraries either need beds, or need to dissapear.

i like libraries that have nice comfy couches for reading

i hate reading in hard seats, so distracting.

The best library to sleep in is at Hart House (U of T) on the second floor at the west end. It is filled with about 12 huge leather couches and several big leather armchairs. Everybody in there is napping so it's always silent.

3 years later and i've finally figured it out;

people sleep in libraries because reading induces sleep!

GENIUS!

I miss this place. I always used to nap there before French class at University College.

I used to have a serious hard-on for Mills & Innis, but especially in the evenings and on weekends when they were nice and quiet... and EMPTY... *sigh*

i usually spend all my time in the commerce lounge and in mgd

i spend more time there than the average commerce student, yet they still won't let me into their mgd computer lab

I love that library! Spent many afternoons there in between classes.

Yup. I never once saw anyone come in there to get a book or (gasp!) read.

I wish I had a room like that here at work. It would be even cooler if there were a secret passageway leading from my office closet into a bedroom/secret lair/walk-in bong with Thai hookers and a butler.

i absolutely hate it when people sleep in the library leaving no room at all for me to actually get work done. if the place is empty i can understand but if it's busy and the library's full, GO SLEEP SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU INCONSIDERATE FUCK!!

the hart house library at u of t was a prime napping place when i went to that school: comfy couches and the perfect amount of warm, afternoon sunshine streaming through the windows. :)

peace,
