So far, ive smoked in the hotel everywhere, a restaurnt that was all smoking (no designated area) and im at a net cafe right now.. smoking of course..

frenchies love the cancer sticks.

Damned right, Montreal makes it hard to kick the habit! I don't go up there as often as I'd like, but when I do I smoke a lot more than usual. It's the whole European smoking vibe.

There is nothing like finishing a shopping marathon in Cours Mont-Royal (little mall au coin de rue Peel et rue St. Catherine) and then ordering a coffee from the cafe on the main floor and lighting up a cigarette right in the centre of the mall. I swear it's pure bliss. And you can light up in almost any cafe/restaurant...and not worry about breaking any laws...

Besides, you know the ol' saying. "When in Rome..."

Je te manque Montreal!!!

I made myself quit smoking when I lived in Montreal last summer. It was just totally out of control.

We went to Sakata instead of Soto, and I must say it was excellent.. service was a bit shit.. but the sushimi was grand..
