I guess we should be quiet, huh?
Everyone is still sleeping...

[whisper] Well, that makes two of us. This is busy for a sunday morning. [/whisper]

I have to go to bed early every night, working 7 days a week and all. :( But i guess all the paycheques will make up for it :)

G'morning all!

It's sunny out? Good to hear. I live in a dungeon, so I never know unless I hear the weather on the news (or go outside).

*giggles quietly*

quantumdj, you work 7 days a week? Awww. :(
You must be one very busy person!
Guess I sort of do too now that I think about it, but I have flexible hours with my second job...

ACK! :D
I usually do that too!

Isn't it nice sometimes to wake up at a decent hour and not feel like ass, and realize you've got the whole day ahead of you?

^^I have flexible hours with my third job, I work fri/sat/sun on my second job, and my first job is mon-fri 3:30am-7:30am, then school from 9:30-3.

I hope I can keep this up, I need the money to move away for school in september. I figured that i'll still be $11,000 short, though (my course doesnt give a break between first and second year, just straight through the summer, so I have to save enough money for two years).

Yes it is beautiful outside! Should make for a nice drive to work.
Good morning everyone!

French toast??
Mmm, I can't remember when the last time was that I had that! :)

Do you mind if I ask what you do?? That's a pretty crazy schedule! Where are you planning on going for school?

Man can I relate with ya Noah!
That's why I can't ever stay over at anyone's house.

I'm such an early bird, but I love the night too.

So true ... I remember in high school would hardly ever stay over at other people's houses cause I would always wake up 3 hours before they did ... and what the hell are you supposed to do in someone else's house while they sleep?
Anywyas ... all my friends said I was a bed wetter and it pissed me off cause they didn't understand what it's like to be an early riser
Personally I love it ... you get the most out of your day ... and you get to watch wonderful cartoons that only little kids see

The first job is at the airport, on the ramp. I marshall aircraft (guide them around with wands), from small feeder planes to 757's, then I load/unload them. I love it.

The second job is at a pharmacy. Five hours friday evening and nine hours saturday daytime i'm in the post office in the back of the store. for six hours on sundays i'm the manager for the front shop.

The third job is as a rock climbing instructor at an indoor climbing gym. I get to pick my own hours, and I have no minimum of hours, but I have decided not to touch the money from the other two jobs, and only spend the money I make at this one.

I am (hopefully) going into the 3 year Sault college Aviation Flight Technology program. The acceptance notices go out in about a week or two, so i'm feeling the suspense now. I will graduate with a Commercial pilot's license, an instrument rating, multi-engine rating, night rating, and instructor's rating. This course is heavily funded by the government. For every $1 in tuition, the government pays $6. To just go to any flight school and get these licences would cost about $30,000-$40,000, so it's a sweet deal. I get a technology diploma, too (like a mini-engineering degree).

The drawback is, that I have to brutally earn every benefit of the course. If I dont keep a certain high average, I get kicked out. If I dont pass a flight test, I get booted. First year students are in class 7 days a week, and 2nd+3rd year students get one day off /week. There is only one summer break, between 2nd and 3rd year. Regardless of this, I hope i will do well. Since this is what i've wanted to do since I was 7 years old, I have a passion for it like nothing else.

The thing with the aviation industry is that it is extremely lop-sided. At my first job I may only be able to make $7,000 a year. A distinguished airline captain can make over $200,000 a year only working 15 days a month. Job security does not exist, no matter where you are. The troubles are terrible, but the rewards are huge.

I hope this answers your question.

May I ask what you do? :)

I am awake... not that anyone cares...
Just feel like crap, I am going through some crap and I asked my bf to be there for me, but he said he made plans and he can't cancel them, so he went out last night and got completely trashed, while I was home, crying.

So yeah... I am really mad at guys... yes, I am generalising, but that's how I feel right at this moment.

Dave, that sounds incredibly intense, but I wish you all the best. I think flying would be an absolute thrill. It's nice to hear that some people are passionate enough about their dreams to take such huge sacrifices and risks. Mad respect!

May I ask what you do?

My Monday to Friday job (7:30 to 5:30) is a Help Desk position at a property management company. We have a tenant services division and basically I have to make sure the call center, paging system and database are running smoothly (which they never do).

My other job is one i've just recently started. I registered my own Artist Management business. I love it, it's my baby, but it's tons of work and I find myself burning the candle at both ends quite a bit. :( I hope someday it will be big enough that I can get a less hardcore day job.

So true ... I remember in high school would hardly ever stay over at other people's houses cause I would always wake up 3 hours before they did ... and what the hell are you supposed to do in someone else's house while they sleep?

Word Noah, i'd never stay unless I could walk home. I was always gone in the morning, it used to be a big joke, and still is with some of my friends. *laughs*

So yeah... I am really mad at guys... yes, I am generalising, but that's how I feel right at this moment.

Joanne, sorry to hear that. Hang in there, and hell, generalize all you want, sometimes it's easier that way.
