Some people get the travel bug and never lose it. My sister sold her apartment and went traveling around the world a couple of years ago. And when I say "around the world", I mean literally. Europe, Africa, India, Nepal, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia, and a shit ton of other places. Then she came back, was miserable, and then left again. She was in Thailand last month, now she's in Singapore, and next month headed to Nepal again.

She's teaching english in singapore to help fund it. And she taught yoga in Thailand for a while as well. She also sold her apartment on Queen's Quay for a tidy profit right after the big real estate boom.

niceeee. my biggest fear of taking the big leap to travel is being stranded in a country with no money! I would love to know how I would get an under the table job [haha not sexual]

In the course of the past week, I've broken up with my girlfriend (ya, I know... like the third one I've mentioned since I've been on here), quit my job, signed over the lease to my apartment, renewed my passport....and bought myself a one way ticket to everywhere.

Just wanted to share. For anyone who's ever thought of doing something along those lines, do it. I can't tell you how good it feels.
