i got a new job today....

i woke up to a phone call offering me a job this morning. that rules!!! every morning should start kind of like that. it's a sweet job. pays ok, but i get great experience. on a down note, it's close to my parent's house so i think i'm going to be stuck here for a while, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices i guess.

just wanted to share my good news...

This weekend I start work as a dirty cheap man-whore. I'm pretty excited. They pay is good, the treatment sucks, and the benefits are alright. I've been doing my stretches so I'm all ready to go.

Man I'm jealous and my smartass comments can't hide it. I want a new job. I love my job I do, I really really do. I just love the excitement of a new job, new adventures, new people, new food court, new desk and new supplies and new stuff in general.

congrats man, you have more courage and luck than I do. I'm sure you will love your new job. As long as you get to keep posting on tribe that is.

I wish I had an office.
I've got a cubicle, in the middle of the building. No natural light for this boy.

I think I may need a new job.

actually it's only been 2 weeks. in fact this was the first job i applied for and the first interview i had. the hiring process just takes time i guess.

i'm working for a mutual fund company and as far as i can tell, i'm going to have a fair amount of responsibility. i think i'm also going to freak out when i see my desk and a little plaque with my name on it (assuming i have one).
