I finally got a DTS/DD receiver

after several years with five speakers and only a dolby pro-logic receiver, I did the upgrade and man.

like, wow.

it's like I'm hearing electronic music the way it's supposed to be. I've got it in this big hall mode with heavy bass going and I'm going to cry it's so sweet.

and I haven't even gotten to my dvd's yet!

I used to have a job as a projectionist at a couple of movie theatres...

and you are right..electronic music sounds fuggin amazing in DTS, DD, THX..

but i think my fave was the SDDS sound format..

the THX theatre with 4 subwoofers wasnt that bad either!

Techno never sounded so good..

only got security called once... on a late and very loud wednesday night. but that was before I got the new toy...

you upgraded from a crummier reciever.... I upgraded from a cheap old ghetto blaster I hooked up to my computer from god knows when, so imagine my surprise when I got a reciever and 5 speakers
