How to disable WinXP firewall?

The IT guys in our company decided to enable the Windows XP firewall on our laptops and there's no way to disable it as it's now greyed out. I don't like the XP firewall and prefer to use Kerio instead. Is there any regedit I can do to allow me to disable it again?

Thanks.

I'm almost positive that aslong as you are logging into that domain it will remain grayed out. It's part of the domain policy. No way round it

Yep. Your only option is to remove yourself from the domain, and login to the domain when asked.

Although, if the laptop belongs to the company, then it's really not up to you, it's their network and their laptop so it's their rules.
