1. A two dollar coin of which

(a) the composition is

(i) for the inner core, aluminum bronze (copper, aluminum and nickel), and

(ii) for the outer ring, pure nickel;

(b) the standard weight is 7.30 grams; and

(c) the margin of tolerance with respect to weight is 42.38 grams per kilogram of 137 pieces.

A toonie weighs 7.2grams. . . so just over a quarter ;) . . cause I'm guessing this information was requested for illicit reasons

I'm not, really.

I think it was done purposely so that banks, if need be, could weigh mass quantities of money. Rather than throw everything through a counting machine.

No it doesn't.

American bills are not made of the same material. Canadian bills are a fiber/fabric composite, whereas US bills are just paper (so i've been told)
