it's ridiculous... I was there at last nights game... pure honeys and now they've even got 'Jays Cheerleaders' ..MMMMMMmmmmm....lol... but the game was sooooooooo fucking boring. We were 7 rows behind home plate.. Platinum Dugout seats... everyone around us was quiet... no yelling.. no heckling... and it looked like there was no more than 7,000 people there...TOPS !
no promotions... no giveaways... it was soooooooo unappealing...
... when you look at the raptors or the leafs... even the rock... there's alot of excitment around you.. eye candy..ear candy... they shoot t-shirts out of canons... posters.... aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, the biggest factor... they've GOT SUPERSTARS ! Superstars who make NOISE !
yeah.. Delgado... he's even stated he's not a verbal leader... and the most excitable person on the team is probably Stewart who's had his role depleated to DH. Nobody, it seems, has passion.
they play the same old organ songs... the same old chants... the same Jumbotron graphics...
... it's the same as it was 15 years ago.. except for the players.
When are they gonna realize that they need more than just the game itself to keep the fans entertained and coming back !?
$40 got me 7 rows back from homeplate... $40 at a leaf game wouldn't get me dinner ! They fact that they push it as a cheap night out probably doesn't help either.... you gotta make people think that it's the HOT TICKET IN TOWN... nah mean !? lol
anyone else thinking these guys move to the states within the next 5 or 6 years ? ... maybe sooner ?
