How do I get to that soccer field underneath the Don Valley Bloor/Danforth viaduct?

How do I get to that soccer field underneath the Don Valley Bloor/Danforth viaduct bridge - the one on the West side of the Don... by bike. You know the field you see as you are crossing the bridge, going west on the TTC train...

You can't get to it from the Don Valley bike trail as far as I can tell, and I couldn't see a way to get to it from Riverdale Park West... There must be a way to get there....

There are some stairs accessed from Rosedale High School (Southwest of Viaduct)

The place is probably a landfill or poptabs, foil, and other crap though which will make hunting hard if not impossible.

There's a bike path on the east side of bayview.

That was the sketchiest soccer field I have ever seen. There are like hobos living in the end zones.

I assumed you were going to visit some buddies.

I was hunting for treasure with my metal detector but let me tell you, there's none on that field. Also I don't know how anyone plays sports on it because it is in such a state of disrepair.

I walked down behind Rosedale Heights School of the Arts to get to those stairs that lead down to the sports field and OMG the back of that school is like a ghetto scene out of the projects in The Wire. Graffiti everywhere, empty beer cases, broken glass, cigarette butts, mattresses and trash strewn into the woods below. You can tell there is more going on at that school than Arts! Or maybe it is just some crazy art installation - it was so realistic that I expected to get shot at by bloods or crips at any moment, or be offered some smack or crystal meth.

you should try moss park. you could probably find a load of needles to add to your collection of finds!
