HOLY SHIT!!!! what an AMAZING track, the vocal in it is out of this world, and the bassline OWNS! i am listening to this track over and over again, my new front of the box fav

Minimal Man - Treatment feel Rmxs - Vinyl Classics
nice dubby, steppy as hell house. i'm lovin this one..

Aaron Carl - My House Rmxs (Eddie Amador and Doc Martin Rmx) - Ovum
a hit or miss label for me usually, but i'm diggin this remix. i just wish the bass kick was a little deeper and stronger

Marcello Castelli - Caveman - Kismet
very nice track, i am a fan of this guy now after this one and Tribalismo

SNS Project - Give us Hope - Ovum
fawking killer track, the original is the cut that does it for me. the bassline is great, the message in the vocal is very cool, all in all a solid track

Deelite "groove is in the heart 2002". I know it sounds cheesy but it starts with this incredible funky house loop and then all of a sunden, it turns into Deelite. Also I received the new Eddie Ammador on Mochico. It; crazy.

Deelite "groove is in the heart 2002".

heard this. don't think that it nearly compares with the original. seemingly, originals are usually the best. there are some rare exceptions of course (for example, the real jazz remix by jesper dahlback absolutely tops the original by krome).

peace.

Is this the track that rip the synth lines off "Deep Burnt" by Pepe Braddock?

Ok Deeno, now we have an argument. Have you heard Lafleche's remix of "the Real Jazz"(it has never been released due to liscensing problems but it was on his CD) . It honestly kills any other remix of that track. Also, if you like Pink Floyd, there's a remix of "the Wall" by Joey T. Vanelli (same guy who remixed "dark side of the moon") out there that ABSOLUTELY ROCKS.

Myka

P.S. Hey Deeno, haven't seen you in a while. How are you doing?

yes, that's the track. pepe's dub is the one.

myka. i am doing well. i was in play de record last week and saw you briefly but then you disappeared... how is everything with you? i'm lovin' the shop these days!

about the remix thing, i guess it's all in personal opinions. i do understand what you're saying... for example, dj q's remix of "house soul" rocks a lot more than the original by valentino kanzyani. it's all in personal taste and i can respect that.

nothing new for me this week so i can't post any recent rockers.

peace.

My picks for the moment are:

Sebastien Leger - The Popcorn EP. (Forget the label, but distributed by Cyber Production)

Two men with tits - topless E.P.

The new Conga Squad - With the space-age looking chairs on the cover. (Gee, can anyone tell I fail to read shit, and pull records by sleeve colour?)

Dave Armstrong - "Slam Jam" (Anheuser Remix) - CDR.

I'm still digging Smitty & Davenport's latest remix on Soul Phusion.

And the two newest BlackJack releases.

Finch.

P.S. I agree, Lafleche's remix of The Real Jazz is still the best mix of that track I've ever heard. His, "Preach The Party" on Yul, isn't bad either - but I don't care too much for his latest on Yul.
