Leafs traded forward Andreas Johnsson to the New Jersey Devils on Saturday in exchange for forward Joey Anderson, then followed with the signing of veteran defenceman Zach Bogosian.

The 30-year-old Bogosian inked a one-year contract worth US$1 million.

its a pretty low risk signing for a guy with a little sandpaper in his game and a ton of playoff experience. Does Hunter have a a no facial hair policy too? I'll take him.

Maybe not upper echelon with the ability to steal many games on his own, but he's solid. Like number one centres and stud defenceman, elite goalies don't grow on trees...you either have to draft'em or buy'em and our money is currently spent on the hope of winning each game 6-5.
