RUMOR: Chicago Blackhawks Corey Perry was caught sleeping with star teammate Connor Bedard’s mom on the teams annual “Mom’s Trip” November 9th-12th.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE TEAM: After an internal investigation, the Chicago Blackhawks have determined that Corey Perry "engaged in conduct that is unacceptable."
The team has placed the veteran winger on unconditional waivers and plan to terminate his contract, effective immediately.

Here's a hot take I just made up on Perry. If there was a consensual event (say, with Bedard's mother) I say he grieves it. So he at least gets paid. But if he doesn't grieve it, I suspect what actually happened was harassment (maybe Bedard's mother, maybe someone else entirely). Let's see what happens.
