HMV cd club cards expired....

are supposed to have expired yesterday. So I ran over there to get rid of my 2 x $24.99 cards.

I tried to blow them both on one 3 disc set, but those rat bastards wouldn't let me do that "it's not allowed" (even tho they've done it for me before )

So - separate topic....

I never shop at HMV anymore and I have no idea what's a good mix cd to buy? I like a little bit of everything, but have no idea where to look for a solid mixed compilation cd set.

Any ideas? h.e.l.p.

Anyone heard of ursula 2000, or know where I could find that? I'd love to get that as a gift for a friend

HMV has fallen the fuck off and I've noticed a serious drop in the level of anonymous service, and diligence on getting new releases out asap. I'm doing less and less shopping there, as now I can find all kinds of stuff that I can't in the stores online. If you want to be the best, you try your best, even when your competition is dwindling.

From the Ministry of sorry to the HMV employees on the board. Your managers just won't fucking listen.

I totally agree, I won't be shopping there anymore. The only reason I ever bought anything there in the 1st place was for the stamps.

Cheaper and larger selection to just buy online.

what kind of chill? Trip hop? Loungy?

Chill -> try Zero 7. Mellow album, or if you can find it at the 50 Bloor st.

I'd recommend Euphoria Deep and Chilled mixed by Solar Stone. One of the best mixed chill cd's I've heard.

I can't help but wonder if HMV will bring them back if Virgin tries to horn into the canadian market.
