yeah the middleton disc looks interesting...however cosmos - take me with you is nowhere to be found on the 3 discs...but definitely an ecclectic mix...

just picked up a new release on poker flat recordings...a single disc w/ contributions from steve bug, hakan lidbo (sp :) ), richie & others...listened to it last night & it is excellent...starts off pretty downtempo, but by the end had me reminiscing of steve's set here in february @ element...

it's out @ hmv...a few other releases, but they sort of escape me right now...

ps machoman i think i'm going to go pick up the tony humphries now...picked up the middleton disc yesterday, intersting mix, but haven't had time to listen to it in full yet...

I can't stop listening to the Humphries... It's such a wicked summer vibe... so is disk 2 and 3 of middleton. Great stuff.

...kevin, disc 2 rocks on the middleton mix...a really nice sound...i did a bit of a double take when i seen jody whatley (didn't she have some big hits back in the mid/late 80's of which the name escape me right now...on the top 40 tip??)...nice mix...& on machomans advice i threw on disc 3 saturday morning...perfect saturday/sunday morning tunes...& oh yeah disc one isn't too shabby either...excellent work...gotta love the triple disc set, & i still don't understand why GU didn't jump at the opportunity to make a mint & put together a triple disc by sasha & digweed when the twilo nights were happening (i believe this was the topic of many threads over on GU)...

& matt, the humphries fabric is wicked...funky house music...you're right on with your description of this being a summer disc...excellent & i have to give credit to the people behind these discs, they're top notch...although i've only heard # 3 jon marsh (i really enjoy it), both 1 & 2 are still getting consistent playing time in my stereo...great series...

No sign of Tyrant 2 until next week it looks like.

Stopped by HMV yesterday and saw the new Depeche Mode DVD-"One Night In Paris" from their Exciter tour last year. I definitely picking it up later this week.

digweed mmii is in...heard part of it in the store & i really like this mix...definitely going to pick it up...
