Can't wait for this new GU. Hopefully it will be as good as the Renaissance mix'. Not hard to top his previous GU's.

I wanna see him live. His mix's are very dreamy and good. I like that.

Is that the actual cover? Wow. Seems a lot more different than the standard semi-profile shot that they usually do.

From the Ministry of looking forward to it. I've dug his mixes, though (not to sound like I'm on the bashing bandwagon) I never listened to his Capetown discs as much as I did his Buenos Aires discs.

Prime Minister Highsteppa -> GU13 for life.

no, but this might do:

JOHN SELWAY
"JOURNEYS BY DJ: LIGHTWAVE"
JOURNEYS BY DJ, USA

IN case you’ve been living on another planet or are too wrapped up in cheesy mix CD compilations that flood the market, Journeys By DJ is back with another incredible mix CD to mark their return. Yes, the series that invented the mix CD concept returns with an incredible mix of deep techno sounds from NYC’s John Selway. The "Lightwave" mix marks Selway’s first official mix CD and the end result is perfection. Staring off with the deep, spacey tech-house sounds of Michael Victory’s "Winds of Change", the mix slowly builds with strong tracks from AJ Hunter, Ron Carroll, David Alvarado, and Beroshima. A proper DJ mix, Selway doesn’t kick it off with peak hour tunes. Like any good DJ, he builds anticipation and mixes in waves, giving you lots of peaks and valleys and takes you on a true aural journey. One of the most refreshing aspects of this mix is that it’s not a collection of the same tunes that are licensed day in and day out to just about every single mix CD on the shelves. Selway picks up the momentum until it’s a blinding mix of spaced out techy-rhythms, flawlessly fusing together tracks by Abe Duque, Heiko Laux, and The Producers like a mad scientist whipping up some crazy concoction of techno-potion. We welcome you to the true underground.

Just picked up the new Lazy Dog discs -- Ben Watt is GOD, I *must* catch him when (if) he comes to town this summer.

The Jay Hannan mix is alright, definately better than his mix from Lazy Dog 1 -- but Mr. Watt continues to keep it SO damn funky.

I actually enjoyed the Jay Hannan mix better on the Lazy Dog disc, but I will agree with you that this comp was very tasty.

Yeah it's remastered, but like most north american releases, it's been *slightly* edited. I have the HK dvd myself as well. It also features an interview with Quentin Tarantino on the disc.

From the Ministry of not bad, but not a whole lot of features either
