No AC in the smokehouse add that heat we had yesterday I thought I was going to pass out. Called the AC guy and getting one hooked up.

OK, my post was on June 24th.. I never ever complain about the heat until this week!! It's insane. I went to the gym yesterday so that I could get air conditioning and even during my work out I wasn't as hot as I am when i'm in my apt just sitting on my sofa!

I'm not complaining, but what if you work in an air conditioned office part of the time, and in a plant with injection moulding presses the rest of the time? Can I just complain for parts of the day?

Reminds me of the Paris heatwave of 2003. It was a national scandal. Almost 70,000 ppl died in Europe. It's easy here. Usually we have ac at work, or you can run into a mall or restaurant ( or buy a fan) but there was nowhere to go to escape it there. It felt like 52 degrees in the shade. I was there. I tried to buy a fan and they were all sold out.. God..it was horrible.
