First off this was a tickets only affair so there was't a line up all night. Tickets went for 30 bucks and were sold out by Wednesday. They over sold the 800 capacity; it was packed.
Richie had this whole event well thought out. The tickets were black embossed with the line "Do You Remember?" on the front. Saying he hasn't spun in Windsor for a long time. From the moment you get in, you can taste the vibe. The decor was stunning; black black black !!! It was like a dungeon in there. Even the bouncers and waitress all wore black.
Acquaviva played House upstairs that set the night out right playing some ambient beats. He started at 11pm and finished off at 3am.
Hawtin was rocking the basement that was so dark that you could not see your friends that stood 2 feet away from you. All you could see was the lights bouncing off richie's Bald head
It was like a packed sauna down there with about 600 crazy people goin sick. He played a 9 hour set !!! Started at around 11pm and was still on when I left around 6ish; today I heard he went to 8am. He was rocking hard Tech all night and never seemed to a down moment.
Sound and lighting fit the event. Richie's crew took over Platinum it seemed; it didn't look or sound like the same club.
In all, it was a great party; glad to be apart of it all. Well worth my 30 bux.
