I just spoke with Alexia (Hatiras), they announced his category today.
He WON the JUNO AWARD for BEST DANCE RECORDING

Other nominees were:

On a side note....why do the Juno's feature non-Canadian recording artists?

I can understand that its an awards show that isn't based solely on Canadian music...but its a little sad when people like U2 are nominated. Whenever big artists win the MuchMusic video awards they're never there to recieve them, because they obviously don't care enough about it.

Even if he wasn't Canadian I'd say the same. Its a great bonus to us that he's homegrown talent! Just goes to show ya that if you're talented, it doesn't matter where your from.
