Has there been a "WhereTF do U park in Tdot thread?"

For those who have to drive to the Tdot every time, is there any "somewhat" cheep parking left? It used to be so ez on a week night. Find street parking and it was all good. As most of you know, you have to pay 24/7 now, FUC! Obviously this allowed the parking people to put up their prices. I paid 10$ for parking last night WTF! I can't afford to come down 3 times a week cuz of the parking alone!

I left Tonic last night walking eastbound on Richmond, and every car on the street had a ticket on it, and there was the Tic-Pig still write'n them up. What a pisser.
I remember the "2.50$" lot King and Spadina, it was 2.50 for Fridays and Saturdays. *Grandpa Simpson* "We'd say, see you at the 2.50$ lot"

So where is there to park?

Shit I'm sounding old! "and a coffee was 10 cents" PFFT!!!

under roy thomson hall...was $5, but i hear it's up to $6 now...haven't driven down in a while @ night (helps to live on the subway line)...

the best place to park would be in the underground parking lot of Village by the Grange on McCaul st. $5/24hr -- ideal if you're coming in from the burbs and want to leave your car somewhere once you're in the city.

There's a city of Toronto lot, just north of queen, west of spadina, behind the kentucky fried chicken.

Not sure the price, but it's probably around $5 from 6 pm - 7 am

beware; the lot is usually full by 10 pm on the weekend....

shhh!!! that's where I park ALL the time to go to tommy's (since he is five houses up from there! *S*)

and it's $6 from 6pm till 7am... and yes, it's ALWAYS full by 10pm

the lot at peter and queen beside the black bull is really really cheap i hear... like $3, no??

parking downtown sucks ass. Since I live in the 'burbs, I usually drive downtown, but recently have been leaving my car at Finch station (free parking after 3pm). I could park at my work if I were to go downtown to a club but it's still cost the price of parking to take a cab to the club (the office is at Bloor/Jarvis)

Wednesdays are good though - free parking in a top secret location.

only during the day its that cheap

I park in a parking garage on the same road as "the rex." its cheap and you can pick up crack in the stairwell on your way to the club

you could also try the parking lot on stephanie, just north of queen...go up by hmv, make a right past the apartments...on your left after the church is a pretty cheap lot...

...but never ever take the last available spot!

i use that parking lot on mccaul north of queen that someone already mentioned.

it used to be only 3 bucks but it's still a budget a 5 dollars.
can't complain!

A friend of mine has a map of all the free lots on toronto.... se got it from a taxi driver adn has been using it for about 1 year, is this information of any value to any of you???? there are about 36 "free" places to park downtown...just an FYI

during the week I park at the huge lot on the corner of Adelaide & University.. its only 5 bux.

and on the weekend I park in the 'park&piss' underground parking. Its just north of queen on the street where the Scotiabank is. (don't know the name sorry)

it's a detailed map, like a roadmap with flags for each of the free lots....this is the maps cabbies use when they're chillin waiting for fares..... I'll get a copy then make them available for the low low price of 4.35 + tax
