what a weekend...first dimitri & then the harvest festival...haven't been to an outdoor event in a few years, but this was definitely worth the trip...had some fun getting parked through the mud & fields, but we arrived after the rain & in time for some great tunes...
checked out the different areas, including the wicked chill out tent/pyramid, & couldn't ask for a better atmosphere @ the fire w/ the tunes in the background, the digeridoo, & of course a clear night w/ lottsa stars...so the setting was spot on...
the barn itself i believe was made for dancing...the multi levels, auditorium hay seating & even a little elevated stage in the back corner high above the action made this a wicked venue...the sound was excellent & the crowd was really into the party...adam & lotus played wicked sets, nice washes, hard & funky beats...live pa was nice (unfortunately i had to get some country air) & made it back inside for dub-naustic...this event is what parties are all about, an overall good feeling...
so i'm sure others can elaborate a little, but a great way to spend a saturday thanksgiving evening...
funny how often we complain about "how it used to be", but this party was "how it should be"...cheers to the organisers & now i can't wait for next year...
