may i ask what footwear you were wearing? if im on my feet all day, wearing any shoes that raise my heels alot (eg. hiking boots) my low back gets hyper-lordotic and experience what you did. flatter shoes (more natural posture) feel better. for me at least. just a thought....so I worked a bingo one day for charity and after walking/standing for 7 hours. my back went haywire. it was a day or two after I hit a pb on deadlifts.
my legs went all tight and then my back started to complain. by the time I got home, it pretty much completely seized up. barely made it into the bathroom to get the voltaren (anti-inflamatory)
something went all wonky with a disc, I guess.
Went to the doctor and he said I'm probably just imbalanced in terms of strength. the weaker muscles were just complaining/seizing.
So yeah, that's the last time I get curious with deadlifts. I'll gradually make my way up to 315 now vs just giving it on what appeared to be a good day at the gym lol
fuck me this is annoying to sit, walk, ride the motorbike, etc., etc.

i did sets of 5 at 345 on monday. getting my ass down to toilet level for my daily morning dump has been challenging this week. my back seizes up at night. i grab on to the sink and slowly lower myself like i'm trying to dock onto the space station. takes about 1-2 mins. i can get enough forward momentum by swinging my upper body to get off the toilet. I need to get my bathroom handicap equiped.
He just needs to start a cycle like you.
that'd almost make sense if i was deadlifting more now then 3 months ago.
1. Start cycle
2. Deadlift less
3. ????
4. Profit?
i know're you're just trolling, but i'll feed you anyways...
I'm cutting, so its more like
1. Start Cycle
2. lift
3. Maintain a caloric defecit.
4. Profit.

after 12 years of bulking i've decided to do a cutting cycle myself. there's a hell of allot to cut. pisses me off that i'm losing fat on my arms, legs, and everywhere else but the gut seems to be digging in for a long hard battle.

I lived, today, back, shoulders and loving bi's. Wish I had my arm blaster still![]()
I also tore something at the gym the other day.
A phonebook.
Okay boys. Hope you'll forgive my intrusion into your thread but I'm looking for some advice and think you might be able to help. I've recently added weights into my workout routine and am a total rookie. I've been super happy with the results but just this weekend I realized that my arms are becoming horribly uneven. Hilariously so. I use a combination of machines and free weights. What's the solution? Do an extra set or 2 with the weaker left arm? When I use the machines I really do try to use both arms evenly but I guess that's not working...
