So what's everyone's 2010 goals?

100km trail run over two days around killarney. i'll sleep under the stars, in my ultra-light sleeping bag.

and 5 day backpacking trip along the coastal trail in pukaskwa.

stay lean. increase deadlift, squat, and bench weight by 10%.

Friday, I got absolutely shitfaced and crashed at a friend's place. Went to bed around 3AM.

I promised my roommate I would workout with him before 10AM so at 9AM the next morning, I wake up still sorta drunk, call him and tell him to bring my gym gear to the gym and I would meet him there. I cab to the bar where I left my car, get in and drive to the gym.

At the gym, the hangover kicked in full effect. Awkwardly enough, I also hit a personal best while completely hungover! I was pretty stoked. 4 plates on incline hammer press for 9 clean/controlled reps and 275 on barbell bench for 4 clean/controlled reps on flat bench -though on the last rep of the barbell bench, the roommate had to help me past a small sticking point.

I don't remember the last time I went over 225. Go me.

I'm back on my diet

I have a new diet plan. Eat all the junk food I want but have a protein shake with every serving. That way the macros actually look like I'm eating clean.

Just had 330 cals and 29gm protein -> 3 oreos and a shake.

I haven't really set my goals.

I really want to do a hardcore 8-10 week diet/training regimen, culminating mid-april. It seems to daunting as to how to gain the knowledge and then go about it, though. I need a celebritrainer.

There's no magic bullet. Work hard and you'll see results. No need to worry about minutae.

I've been working out 4 times a week since December (2 weeks off for Christmas), cut out most beer and stopped eating so much garbage, and I have noticed a great change in my physique. Belly is nearly gone, the bloated Chandler face is going, it's all coming together.

Now the test is to keep it going until Summer so I can build a good beach body, I'm newly single so I need to step up my game.

You know what Im trying to do now? I've lost a bunch of weight and I wanna stop losing now and just stay at the weight I am at. I've gotten so used to eating clean and I dont wanna stop but I also wanna stop losing weight.

I know its easy to just increase my calories but how do I do that without eating junk?
Im in the gym almost daily trying to put on some muscle and I have but its seems to be a long process for me and Im okay with that Im not in a rush. I do very little cardio right now as it is. Do I just eat more? Bigger servings? Eat more high calorie foods? nuts? My stomach is like a sponge so I still gotta watch what I eat.

hard to find high calorie foods that are low in fat.

any takers?

You could switch to a Protein powder that has carbs as well. Whey Gainer or something. I used them when I was skinny and working out in high school. I don't really know how well it worked because my diet was shit then.

Find your BMR and see what works from there.. If you are doing a low fat thing, maybe think about introducing more into your diet (from nuts , avocado etc). Cook with some good oil like coconut oil (the non flavored kind). Lots of ways to add calories into your diet :)
