I would imagine that "It begun..." is wrong

"It began..." doesn't sound too off.....

I guess it depends on how the rest of the sentence goes.

what do I know?? I'm no English teacher, or am I pretending to be one.

I want animal crackers.

Yes.

I'm not positive about the "wanted" vs. "want", but I'm leaning towards "I would be able to do whatever I wanted." It is however possible that both are correct. I really don't know for sure.
I figured pretty mucht the same, but I needed to make sure.

The second one is correct, "wanted" leans more towards past-tense. "Would be" is a present or future-tense statement.

Let's test it out on a few things ...

Yesterday my mom said I would be able to do whatever I wanted, so I did.

But really it should be Yesterday my mom said I could do whatever I wanted, so I did.

If I had three wishes, I would be able to do whatever I wanted. -- I think that sounds right.

If I had super powers I would be able to do whatever I wanted.

I think it's "I will be able to do whatever I want. " and

"I would be able to do whatever I wanted."

To me, right this minute, I think it should be "wanted" at the end of that phrase rather than "want". I'm not positive, but want doesn't seem to sound right to me.

Word is horrible! Some study showed people have less grammar errors when they write without word popping up and ruining shit!
