I like their music. And their videos are kinda cool.

i watched the Brit Awards. best part was the camera angle that gave the panty-shot upskirts of Kylie Minogue.

I started watching the Gorillaz special when the dork was interviewing the record label guy. Then they went to the next scene with the cops or whatever.. something stupid ... that was enough for me. I wanted to see real stuff.. the animators or 'behind the scenes'.... couldn't stand that horrible PAL to NTSC conversion...

That video is sweet, though. They did it up in 3d computer anim and put a 2d filter on the characters.. or so I'm told. I wanna do that. If only I could draw..

i've never seen the videos for clint eastwood or 19-2000 here up north. only in el salvador. and on heavy rotation. and on mtv of all places.

how odd was that?

plus it was at a time when gorillaz were generally unknown here. i was quiet surprised that they were so popular in a country where one must usually lower themselves artistically to appeal to the mass markets as a musician of a different laguage.
