I must say.... the game is still in its early stages, however, the bluejays are playing some good ball.

up 3-1 over the bosox.

j.p. riciardi made some pretty wack moves in the off season.... but i don't think the bluejays will do too poorly this year.

any tbk up for an afternoon jays game one day ?

cheeeeapy nosebleed section no doubt !

yeah, the importance of each game in the baseball regular season makes the need to watch every game that much more important.

162 fucking games?!? Gimme a break.

And then, when all these games are played, the team with the 82-80 record gets to go to the playoffs, while the team with the 81-81 record doesn't.

Why play such a long season for like 3-4 weeks of playoffs?

hey man - I can get cheap tickets for the Blue Jays as my boss is the owner of them. I'm up for an afternoon game one day - lemme know.

As for the moves that the Jays did in the off-season, well, most were just to shed excess payroll and don't be surprised if Mondesi is traded at some point this year. They'll be over .500 for the season but will not make the playoffs, the Yankees are too strong and if Oakland has another good year, watch out. And of course, you can't count out Seattle.

Woohoo!

I get alot of slack for it but I love baseball.

I go to quite a few games each year - it's cheaper than going to the movies.

its nice to see the jays with the lead, but over the years the jays have usually started off well..and then everything goes to the pooper

hehe, Chris Carpenter has on a couple occasions hit his head on the ceiling when he plays pool in our basement.

Which is not too difficult when you're like 6'7" and jump in victory. :)
