girl friends love and international dilemmas

i need your help everyone i am currently living in leeds in england. me and my girlfriend are still togethor however i dont know what i should do for next term. i was only supposed to stay here for one term but now i want to stay longer because i am having fun.
like i kinda want to stay here but i also kinda want to go home because i dont want to lose maureen.like what if i stay and realize that i love her and really i should go home or what if the oppsite happens and i go back only to find that i dont really like her as much as i thought i did and then wish i had stayed shittttttttttttttttttttttttttt.
has anyone else had this happen to them like should i stay and enjoy myself and be like well whatever or should i go home because i dont want to ruin a decent relationship.

either way, i would stay if i were you but maybe that's cuz i love england so much!

What do I do?

I've had similar discussions with friends lately.....do you think that your GF is being selfish by wanting to stay another two years in Japan? Sounds like you would have to be a pretty understanding bf to accept that.

I tend to think that compromises need to take place if a relationship is meant to be. In my experience, living in different cities (or countries for that matter!) for extended periods really isn't giving you the full relationship effect. So, if she want to stay, what does that say??

you are setting yourself up for some major regret if you come home. having been in a long distance relationship, on and off for the past four years, i know how hard it can be. but unless you are at the point in your life where u might wanna get married, u need to explore life on your own as much as possible.

i was so scared when i graduated from university and moved back home. i had spent so much time away from my boy that i didn't know how we would adjust to life together again. but's it's amazing. when it comes to him and us, it feels like i never left. and yet i have so many friends and experiences to hold onto, even if the relationship doesn't last forever--things i wouldn't have if i hadn't challenged myself to stay away. it would have been so easy to choose a school that was close to home.....

she should definitely come visit. those bits of time u get to spend together are so passionate and fun. and then you'll remember why you're still with her--or realise that maybe you shouldn't be.

William I know that it is in your blood to do this kind of thing - ask everyone's opinion about what you should do...but I am going to tell you exactly what is going to happen. You are going to freak out large, people are going to give you good sound advice, you won't listen to any of it, and you will ultimately make the worst decision you can possibly make thus leading to more freaking out. thanks for the advice everyone. it will definatly be a hard one to decide. there are obviously other factors involved as well the major one being that i am not learning anythign while at leeds. this school is a serious joke in comparison to waterloo and i am starting to miss learning. mind you you can beat being able to travel to amsterdam or paris of italy for 20 euros once you are here. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i dont think i will ever know for sure but i think what i am going to do is decide what is best for me both culturally eductionally and ultimatly what will improve me as a person. to be honest i might say forget leeds and go see germany with my friend florien and teach english to his friends there or maybe france. england is cool but it is definatly not the continent

I don't think I'm going to the Ataris after all (although I know I'll regret the decision!) - are you buying tickets at the door? Make sure to call the Pheonix the day of to find out if they are, since last I heard it was almost sold out. And I'd lurve to go to see the PS, I saw them last time they were in town @ Lee's. Doubt I will be able to though, since I'm having a birthday party at my place.
