...Gilmore Girls and how I love them both...

...I think it started with Party of Five. I'm talking about the 'intellectual speak'. The contemplative, introspective, reflective, angst ridden and mildly witty way that some shows have their actors talk in 'normal conversation'. It was also in Felicity.
And the show with that girl from Party of Five who went out with Scotty. And now it has come to my attention with the Gilmore Girls. But they pull it off without being annoying because they have brilliant chemistry and timing. Can two ladies be more charming and down to earth? I can't get over how indecisive I am about which one is more appealing. This leads to this inner tension that makes me return every Wednesday night. Anyways, it makes me smile, and that is a good thing...

how the fuck old is the daughter anyway??

she's kinda cute although her forehead can crack walnuts

and yeah...it's a decent show which will definetly have a good run.

That chatter is so ridiculous, way too witty to be realisitic. Great writing, but do people really talk like that. Hello scripting.

However, I love the show, I think the mom is so hot! hah Oh here's another beef (I'm all over tonight, I know) that token rebel kid they brought in, tell me that wasn't a ploy to attract a new viewer audience.

*pictures the writers now* "Hmm, lets stick a bad ass good looking teen hearthrob in there who will be against all authority yet eventually work Rory into a crazy sex freak". It's almost as bad as Poochie (invites a poochie hi-jacking, bring it on boys!)

Dawson's Creek! That's one I forgot. I can't stand that show. Especially Dawson. Blinkin' dweeb. And that other show is the one that had Jennifer Love Hewitt. I can't stand her either. Maybe 'Thirty Something' is where it all started?

I love Gilmore Girls!! Its such a cool relationship between mother & daughter.
I want to see Rory loosen up though!
I think the script is fine - but Dawsons Creek was unbelievable. Who talks like THAT?

What’s that new show after 'friends' these days? Oh gosh its complete garbage... it's trying hard to be 'sex in the city,' but the dialogue is forced by transparent characters ~ and that's comparatively speaking in the ranks of ‘sex and the city’ and ‘friends’ :D

Gilmore Girls

I think a more important question with respect to the dialogue in Gilmore Girls is not, "Who talks like that?" ... but, "Who talks like that in a little American hick town?". :)

Gilmore Girls is ok..............
Dawson's Creek is not. The girls on that show annoyed the hell out of me.............like we're they supposed to be like 14/15, but acted like they were all 20 something...........

I hated that show.

I wonder what ever happened to the 90210 kooks.......I was addicted to that show at 8 every Wednesday for the entire 6 or so years it was on.............

HAHA the one that lasted like 5 episodes with her in NYC. What a joke.

^^^^^ haha!

There was this show called Jack and Jill that was all right. The blond hottie is in the Marilyn Manson video 'Tainted Love' as a cheerleader. I wonder how old Laura Lye and Rory really are.

On a heavier note, war sucks.

I love Gilmore Girls, I think the banter that goes on between everyone is pretty funny and witty, definitely beats Dawson's Creek!

Buffy used to have really good witty banter between the characters, but it's really gone downhill in the past two seasons since Joss had to divide his concentration between it and the new show (Angel).
