Getting off Telemarketer's lists?

I could have sworn I saw on City TV news a little while back them doing a piece about a site you could go to to register your phone # and get off telemarketers lists.

Does such a site (for Canada) exist or was I just dreaming this up?

I don't remember where I saw this but it went something like:



".....No, I'm not interested in your special offer but if I am, I will call you back on your home phone to let you know.
