GEEK: saving realvideo content

Hey geeks,

What's a simple way to capture streaming realplayer video content - .rm, .ram, .smil, etc.???

I've tried r7c converter and it's pissing me off (i.e. not working for me).

While I'm at it, is there an app out there that can handle all video formats (real, .avi, .mpg, etc)??

Cheers!

dunno about capturing it as i've never bothered to try. however, as for playing, "mplayer" is by far the best...you can get it off www.sf.net/ if you do a search for it there.

I've had good luck using Streambox VCR to record streaming realmedia files.

Unfortunately, the link I used to use to grab the program seems to be down.
