"Gay OR Gino" and Other Fun Clubbing Games.

This thread is inspired by my numerous trips to the Guvernment, Tonic and other fine establishments in 2002.

Seriously. Gay? Or Gino?

So hard! I can barely ever tell. It was difficult in 2000 and 2001, but 2002 brings new difficulties. It's the difference between Tetris level 1 and Tetris level 9. (The proverbial blocks are falling MUCH faster, these days.)

Ginos have decided to dress MORE gay.

And Gays (If you can call them that, and I can) are dressing more ambiguous/Hypermasculine.

And so the game goes..."Gay or Gino?"

Other fun party games include: "Dance like the person in front of you," "Steal the tip money from the bar" and ofcourse, "How many cigarettes can I mooch, tonight?"

I know you all play them. What other fun games are there? And does anyone have any hints with the Gay or Gino game? It's getting VERY difficult!

I use to play this game with a friend of mine at parties where we would seek out and make fun of all the ginos in a jungle room. We coined them as "jinglists". They are the funniest!

i used to close my eyes at bar/club nights and let the crowd move me to a different part of the establishment. it was really cool to open your eyes and be in a totally new place. A friend of mine and I used to do this all the time, really trippy and fun. We called it the "Rollercoaster ride" ...enjoy

I don't know why Ginos are always associated with The Guvernment... I've been there three times on a Saturday night in the last year (reluctantly) but the majority of the crowd there were Asian in decent.

Oh The Games We Play

Club/Party Games - Great Thread

I like the "I lost my contact game." You can usually get some people to help ya look for a while.

Sniffin out the joint from across the room and than send in your cutest friend to the circle for the steal. My 2 girl friends from Guelph are awesome at this game.

Sometimes it's fun to ask people questions that don't make sense and see what their response is. Sometimes it gets soooooo loud you can start asking questions that make perfect sense but point to a hot chick while saying it to try and get different reactions.

With the right person(s) you can have "Dance Wars" nothing competetive or that requires a circle but just for kicks. You go back and forth making up dance moves. Some of my favs are the Speed Skater, Up The Ladder, The Pepper Grinder, The Lawnmower, The Penguin, Butter on Bread, The Slot Machine Junkie, The Off Beat Dancer, The Horse Jockey, and The Thriller.

Fake names and fake phone numbers can be fun. Especially when they walk passed again and say, "hey Cornelius how r u?"

At the bar try thanking random strangers for buying you the drink in your hand.........................can work as a good ice breaker too.

"Hey are you Jen's (insert popular name here) friend ..................... she said something really quick and than I think she mentioned that she was going to leave."


Wow I could go on 4 ever. My friends and I are always finding new ways to keep each other smiling but off the top of my head those are some of my favourite games for a night out!

You should be able to tell the difference quite easily by their style of dancing. It's a dead give-away.

That used to be the big hint, but even that is getting difficult.

Both dance in packs of 3-5 males.
Both are incredibly groomed and stylized.
Both wear expensive tight jeans and tanktops.

And for the most part, both are starting to dance in a flailing (flaming?) style.

The old dead give away used to be the shoes -- Gays used to wear clunkier shoes or flashier ones. But it's as though they've consulted and everyone is buying Diesel/Brandname Oldschool runners.

So hard!
