George Clinton, the colorful singer known as Dr. Funkenstein, was busted in December 2003 by Florida cops and charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. The 62-year-old Parliament-Funkadelic founder, who owns a home in Tallahassee, spent less than an hour in the Leon County Jail before coming up with the $2650 he needed to bond out.

A friend of mine went to see him at The Key in Bala this summer. He was supposed to meet George earlier on in the day at a cottage party. When my friend got to the cottage one of the band members told him "Sorry man! George passed out on his crack pipe in the hotel room, he won't be making it here"

Sombionx (for all you house music lovers) has a
studio in Chicago... he had the luxury of setting
up the boards for G.Clinton so that he could lay
down some vocals and basslicks for a house
tune...

he also had the luxury of cookin' up some crack
for him, too...

needless to say, the tracks never got made.

I met the Atomic Dog at DEMF the year he played.

A few attempts at conversation were made by me, he mumbled some wierd ass shit. I couldn't understand a word he was saying

His dancers were hot though
