OK, check it out, the other day I met this dude Sean Kirby in my Existentialism class (http://www.seankirby.com)who was trying to convince me that GM foods will solve third world hunger, and that America is peachy-keen. He was bigging them up as the global police force ('who would you RATHER have in charge' styles) and telling me how capitalism is definitely the way to go. If you have read any of my posts here you could imagine how hilarious the ensuing debate was...

Anyway, I sent him this email full of links and stuff and I was wondering if any of you had any advice, info, or whatever for me to send him in addition. This dude is too much, I love talking with him, it's hysterical.

OK, so here's the email:

"Hey man, nice website!

I really don't know many young people with your perspective on things, you provided excellent counterpoint for me in our discussion :) I hope to debate with you again some day, i'll be sure to bring tinfoil hats for everyone ;) Hee hee, sorry, I must admit I have been trying to ham up the 'conspiracy nut' angle with you, your reactions are very amusing. I'm actually very skeptical and don't hold any beliefs to be firm, I explore these things to expand my conception of the possible. i find it to be very motivating creatively, and an interesting challenge for my reason as well.

Here's a few links you will definitely find interesting, perhaps you could write me back with your commentary on them? Not all of them have to do with the New World Order and all that, i'm giving you some cool art and music links too:

OK, so here we go!

-John Kerry's dirty laundry: http://www.counterpunch.org/donnelly02092004.html

You'll LOVE this shit, he's a dirty fucker! he is also a Skull and Bones member: read this, you'll laugh your ass off: http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=154992004

-Here's a video of Bush being quizzed about the Skull and Bones: http://www.themedianews.com/DAGGER/Video/Bush_NBC/WMV_56k.wmv

-The infamous Washington Pentagram: http://www.freemasonrywatch.org/washington.html

It's really funny, if you look at any DC roadmap it's staring you in the face. It's not like you need a flaky bible code to decipher it or anything.

-Here's that Owl in washington I was telling you about: http://thebiggestsecretpict.online.fr/nwo/capitol_owl.jpg

Check the rest of the archive too, there's some really interesting stuff up there.

-Bohemian Grove: http://www.fair.org/extra/best-of-extra/bohemian-grove.html http://www.sonic.net/~kerry/bohemian/

-The Project for a New American Century (Scary Neo-Con New Wordl Order business... part of their mandate is to 'maintain several simultaneous major theatre foreign wars') It's really creepy and fun to read about, here's the offician PNAC site: http://www.newamericancentury.org/ and here's a non-PNAC info page: http://pnac.info/

-The Total Information Awareness Office (which has access to every piece of info about you, no matter how private, say goodbye to your constitutional rights there Americans!). It's headed up by the death squad commanding goon Admiral Poindexter, he was trained at the School of the Americas (where you learn to destabilize countries, become an assassin, etc.) and previously helped the US 'engineer regime change' in Central America. Here's his take on it: http://www.fas.org/irp/agency/dod/poindexter.html

And here's the other side of the story: http://www.public-i.org/dtaweb/report.asp?ReportID=484 You shoudl really check out the Centre For Public Integrity (the page this is from) they're amazing, you'll learn a lot.

-Terminator Genes: http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/03_28/b3841091.htm

Wow. That's what happens when you have the same company that makes Agent Orango (and the even MORE hideous Agent Purple) has what amounts to a global GE seed monopoly.

-Implanted RFID GPS/identity microchips in the states: http://www.adsx.com/prodservpart/verichip.html Yikes!

OK, so that's enough NWO crap, on to the art and music!

i think michael moore is great, but this dude won't listen to anything he says because of all the liberties he took with BFC.

Conservative refers only to British and Canadian parties, republicans are not by definition of the word conservative. They may use the conservative term very often. But classically by definition of the word "conservative" you are in fact only refering to ...

the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom or the Progressive Conservative Party in Canada.

And not all conservative policy is all that different.

Wow, that guy Sean Kirby is super-sharp and knowledgeable for a "mere" undergraduate.

Something tells me that you could learn a hell of a lot more from links he might send you than the other way around.

No offence...

in the begging there was paradise; man through a sham wanted more out of life, but when he opened his eyes, he discovered he was still really blind.

That "something" might be the voice inside your head urging you to make a fool out of yourself every time you post something. It's a pity someone didn't have the decency to tell you when you were a child that there is no such position as goalie in the game of horse shoes.

Oh fully, he's wicked and I love debating with him. Nice guy too. It's wierd, he has almost entirely similar views and motivations as i do, but excercises them in the exact opposite manner.

Here's some more of our correspondance, he sent me some links too:

He's responding to this statement I made in debate: "when a person becomes a leader and assumes a role of governance they need to become detached from influence, respect all creation and practise great self-cultivation if they are to govern effectively. Unfortunately the philosophy of our current system of power doesn't really emphasize that angle..."

I think we've got a closet neoconservative here. That could have been written by Leo Strauss himself. :)

Here's what I'm surfing lately:

Sen. Kerry, in 1992, defending those who didn't serve in Vietnam: http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110004646

The latest goings on in Iraq, and the larger middle east: http://iraqdaily.com/

The Command Post, a collective blog for late breaking news links, to which I am a sometimes contributer:

http://www.command-post.org/

The Economist, because money makes the world go round: http://www.economist.com/

More to come.

Cheers,
Sean

Yeah, that "system" is called democracy. And accountability for one's actions to the people is what's emphasized (although rarely practiced). You want to rule in a system where you're a leader "detached from influence", you should go buy an island and call it Totalitaria, but in North America, the political leader is expected to act in accordance to the will of the people that place their vote of confidence in him/her. Not be self-serving under some thin guise of "self-cultivation". This is pure unadulterated hogwash typical of those that try to justify organized greed as a philosophical principle.
