[Tricky kid]

with the exception of Die's rollerball ep and one or two singles by SUV i have been disgusted lately with the full cycle sound. 3-5 remixes of snapshot is one example of their lack of imagination. Roni Sizes new tune on the blade soundtrack is embarrasing. i wasn't feeling SUV's or Roni Size's albums and where is Krust? now i have heard the new "mermaid tune" and "harp tune" i think they are alright...but overall what is happening?

how do you guys and girls feel about Full Cycle?

I like the new Reprazent plate "Out of Breath". Haven't heard anything about it being released though.
It was the first tune Andy played at Bittersweet.
I think "Mermaid" is a pretty sick tune as well.
Haven't heard anything else lately though.

I don't know WTF happened with that Cypress Hill vs. Roni Size deal but it is probably the worst track I have heard from either camp.

Kamanachi feat Lady Miss Kier - Back To The Funk
Die - Synthetix
Suv - The Desert Rose fiasko

Now that's still a hella lot of hits in the wake of a few misses...but I have a definate feeling that although things have been a little slow in the last while...business is going to pick up from Full Cycle in the 2K2.

....I don't know....not only have the tunes been weak...I'm not even sure if they came back hard they will ever be as popular as they once were.....it seems like for now people are all about Calibre, High Contrast etc.......they have been given plenty of second chances.....

surge also put out a pretty impressive double pack (working out and studio abuse were notable tunes).

as for full cycle..they really haven't been putting out much lately to comment on. a few dubs going around (as already mentioned). i read an article in iDJ saying that they've been busy working on the new reprazent album plus they were touring CONSTANTLY last year which is one explanation. speaking of quality...it seems to me that fc has never really been everyone's cup of tea. you either love the bristol sound, or you hate it....there doesn't really seem to be any in between.

Its a full on 1940's Jazz bit, most wont be ready for it,...

Wow...I just heard this tune now. Definately feeling this one...especially where SUV takes it around the 4 minute marker.

But you're probably right...the masses might not be with it...but at long last I believe I have found the ideal fresh tune to mix that Xploding Plastix, "Treat Me Mean..." ditty with.

a nice track. but i don't think i would call it a full on 1940's jazz bit. jazz yes, latin yes. just not from the 40s.

actually, having listened to it all the way through, i think that the track is gay because it turns redundant.

a little better than the peshay style one minute jazz intro into simple-ass redundant break.

the song starts off well and prolly took a while to make, but then when it gets to the dance beatz you feel that it he prolly finninshed it off in an hour.

he should just ignore the dancefloor and make some tracks with real composition.
