Almost 3 decades of faggotry and I still haven't been to to The Barn.

And last night was gonna be the night too. The Barn is like Polkaroo.

There was actually a line up at the Barn, so I ended up going to Buddies in Bad Times Theater instead. I thought I made a mistake because there was no dancing - they were doing some variety show. But afterwards, they played some cheesy disco and everyone got drunk and danced so I was all happy.

Yay!

Very young crowd... I was shocked at how busy it was on College Night. Complete departure from the previous almost-leather image that they had.

Have you ever been to The Black Eagle?
I went in there last year and I swear to god, I was the only minority in there and the whole place smelled like semen.

You'd think that that would be my idea of utopia but really, it was just kinda gross. I mimicked sucking some guy off for pictures anyway.

Black Eagle is off the chaaaain. I wound up there at 3am after a Pride Sunday a few years ago with a crew of straight guys looking for beers...haha...wooo. We tried to look like we belonged, but yeah, I don't think they wanted us in there. That place is nuts.

I like their heated smoking patio. I consider it more of an old farts bar than a "leather" establishment. Deceivingly, the kink props imply that something interesting is going to happen.
