FREQ NASTY presents Y4K!
Distinct’ive Breaks are proud to announce the next instalment of the excellent Y4K series – ‘Freq Nasty presents Y4K. Hailing from New Zealand, FREQ touched down in London in the early 90’s and immediately made his mark, rockin clubs the world over with his unique style of straight up party breaks with floor shaking basslines. Highlights for FREQ include Twilo in New York, Johnny Depp’s Viper Rooms, The Burnin Man Rave in Nevada and on top of Kuala Lumpa Airport in Malaysia. UK wise Freq can be seen on the ones and two’s in the main room at Fabric and the Boutique in Brighton to name a few.
Catching that party vibe and putting it onto vinyl has not been a problem either. His first single “Boomin' Back Atcha" immediately turned heads back in 1997 engineered by a certain M.J Cole and started his production career off on the right foot. Up to the present, FREQ is busy working on his latest single for Skint records, ‘Fresh’ and of course the latest Y4K mix to be released in April. Expect ‘FREQ NASTY presents Y4K’ to blow your speakers.
You can catch FREQ and the rest of the Distinct’ive Breaks crew at Fabric, Friday 22nd February.
