for those who saw Aphrodite

OK I'm stuck here in Victoria BC but got to go see Aphrosucky last night at hush ( club here in Vic. very fun and only place to regularly bring in imports) But MY god his mixing was worse than the clap.
He basically didnt mix at all and was not very frinedly towards the crowd at all and ok yay he's a pretty big head but still its the audience who gets you there the audience that pays your bills... over all BIG DISSAPOINTMENT
I had fun due to 15 shots of various things I cant remember at this moment but let me know what those of you who went to Body roc ??
is it just he doesnt like the west?

well, i can't speak for the set @ Body Roc (mostly because i wouldn't go near a place where he's playing), but i did see him once, back in 1998 @ Industry. And he was a really nice guy, all smiles, dropping nice tracks(for the time).....fuck, he even took a couple of photos of the 20 or so people left on the floor when he finished his set. Good mixing too, but then again, it was 4 years ago so i don't really remember too much.

Maybe he was just having a bad day

Or he hates the west

i was at bodyroc and i thought his mixing was great. i don't know if it was just cause i'm not as into jump up (so didn't recognize a lot of the tunes), but i could hardly even tell when i new track was coming in. too bad about the west cause people had a wikkid time here on wed.

I think it might have been a case of he was tired or having an off day... I was expecting what you mentioned from Body roc. but. Victoria is small.. and has a relativly uneducated jungle community with the exception of likly about 50 people. but Soon I will be back in the promised land. so I will just have to be patient for summer.
