Cog and lockring can be had as cheap as 7.50 for a (really) cheap formula cog and lockring. I'd recommend something better than that though as those ones are super low quality! A dura ace or surly cog is a worthwhile investment and runs about 40 bucks.

Alex, that's what makes it so amazing!

thanks I_bRad: do you sell these parts at your shop? You've been quite helpful and I'd prefer to support your shop instead of my local shops(silent sports & bike depot) where I've had less than favourable service in the past.

The dropouts on that will be fine.

As far as parts go, whatever I don't have in stock at the moment I can order for you fairly quickly. Bring it by and I can take a look at it and give you some suggestions/options.

Looks like you might need a new chain as the one on there looks like it's got some stuck links. Put some oil on each link and let it sit for a while and they might free themselves up. If you're patient you can probably work out the stiff links, but that's a tedious process and you can get an inexpensive chain for 10 bucks so it's not usually worth the extra effort.

I've been riding a track frame on the streets all season. A chromoly Masi.

Just wanna go aero and a step up in specs. Custom build

riding that on the street would fucking suck.
too stiff, too much overlap, too steep.

pointless unless you're racing on a track.

its like those hondas that are 5mm off the ground and although they have twin turbo and 700 hp they can still barely move the 6 tons of speakers inside if they were lucky to find a road smooth enough. :p

I wasn't, but I AM saying you can't spell!

I remember once upon a time at the devil strip rollers sprint races I beat some guy on a fancy Cinelli track bike... on my milk crate equipped converted mtb. It's not called L'il Hauler for nothing!

Have you done track one at forest city yet? It's an awesome time. Highly recommended.

Ya

I went once and I'm hooked! I rented a bike and got to spin on a sweet Dolan.

My street rig isn't allowed on even with the brake removed. I run 175mm crank arms cause I'm a tall bastard and it doesn't meet clearance specifications.

Went for a ride yesterday and today. The cold weather has made the trails super hard and grippy. I had a bit of a washout of my rear tire when I took some curved woodwork too quickly, but apart from that every thing was good.

Finally got the Boxxer on my big bike setup. The rebound adjust was broken and all the way on, so I had no speed and my fork would pack up over bumpy terrain. Took it apart and drilled out the plastic the was stuck. Works real nice now.

I was having a nice ride last night shredding down some side streets. Until a branch broke off a tree & knocked me on my ass. Messed up my shoulder. WTF!!
